I work with my beads and baubles much as I used to garden - mixing shapes, colors and textures to create my pieces. To paraphrase Ken Druse, one of my favorite garden authors -
Your piece must look as good in a black and white photograph as it does in a color photograph.
As for my education, it is on going. I've taken classes from Lynn Gifford, Jackie Lincoln, Wendy Witchner, Sharilyn Miller, Don Norris, and Kay Rashka. In 2009, I took beginning and intermediate bead making along with a couple of more chainmaille classes.
I belong to 14 South Artist and to International Jewelry Designer's Guild.
I now have a tabletop, a desk, a countertop and more filled with Swarovski crystals, sterling, stones and other baubles that catch my eye. And I would love to make something for you!
