Meet the Maker: ATouchofGlass
Three years ago I had a small box of stained glass supplies left with me when a friend was moving and was told to "throw them away". Being a person who hates to throw anything away I thought I'd take a chance and take a few stained glass lessons. After four lessons, I turned my garden shed into a workshop and have never looked back. My wonderful husband has done the needed renovations to the shed to transform it into a nice studio. He makes all the frames for my stained glass pieces as he has a woodworking shop. So on the weekends when I work in my studio, he is in his shop and during the day we share a soft drink between the two under the dogwood tree with our english springer spaniel and cats. Stained glass has become my passion and obsession.
As of September, 09 I now teach stained glass basics on an hourly basis one-on-one.
