Most importantly, I'm and mom and grandma! I have one son, and 8......count 'em.....8 grandkids. When my son (4 kids) and his wife (4 kids) met and married, we went from a small family to a large family overnight!

I did not take up painting and sewing until my early 50's. My mom is an artist and sewer and I was raised in that environment, but only dabbled in it when I was younger. I'm self taught, I hate structure, patterns and am not really great on following directions.....so I just create and design as I go.

I'm a bit of a social butterfly on the internet and tend to be everywhere.....Twitter, Facebook, Flickr, my blog, my website and ArtFire, so I'm sure we'll run in to each other!
