Mechelle is a versatile artist who has worked in various mediums. Her work has continued to evolve because she likes to explore new approaches as she perfects her craft. Mechelle started her art career after attending Coloumbus College of Art and Design receiving a BFA degree. She started working in various companies as a graphic artist and also freelance illustrator. She started to exhibit in art galleries which lead her to exhibit in art festivals. The desire for her own creative expression lead her to pursue art shows. Mechelle has also taught art classes to children. Mechelle has exhibited her work throughtout Georgia and the southeast and has sold it into private and corporate collections. She has even sold her work through the Smithsonian Institution gift shops. She resides with her husband and three children in the Atlanta area.
