Studio Announcement:
What's the name about?
SILVER as in Sterling Silver and CHOLLA as in the cacti, sounds like "Choi-yah."
I love dried Cholla branches from the Cholla Cactus of the southwestern U.S. desert. It has a skeletal nature and is a sun bleached silver white wood. It is raw, structural and such a great example of how nature and design connect. I collect it when I travel to Apache Ridge - Santa Fe, New Mexico. You can see its texture in many of my jewelry photos. » Hide
