Studio Policies for Salvagenation
Please make your payment through paypal when possible. If you need to mail a check or money order, make sure you check other in the payment section and then just let me know.
Payment can be made immediately or up to three days after the purchase. After three days, I will consider it a no sale and ask artfire to cancel the transaction.
I do collect taxes for Texas and those will be automatically added in paypal. If you are a Texan and paying by check or money order, please ask me for a revised bill.
Everyone has to "change their minds" occasionally and that is understandable. Please understand that once payment is made in Paypal, I am charged a fee. If you do change your mind, you will be refunded all money, less the Paypal fees.
My first choice for shipping is the least expensive way to ship the item. I always calculate for first class and priority and choose the least expensive way for your item to ship. Large items can even be sent parcel post, if you don't mind the wait. Parcel post in the US usually adds a couple of days. International buyers, please understand, you will be responsible for any customs payment on your package. I only ship international through priority unless the customer asks for first class. I utilized first class international on small items to save costs.
I prefer using flat rate priority as often as possible as it is less expensive for both US and International customers.
If you ever pay too much for shipping, I refund the difference to you.
I only offer a refund if the item is grossly mis-represented in the listing. I sale vintage items and never represent them as perfect or new, vintage will always have flaws. Please read the listing carefully.
If your item is damaged in shipping and you didn't choose any form of insurance, there is not any refund. If the item is damaged due to faulty packing material, please save all material and the item and return it to me. I will refund all purchase amounts, less shipping when a damaged item is returned that was not properly shipped.
If a package is lost by the service used for shipping, I will file a claim, if insurance was purchased. If confirmation of delivery was purchased then I can also file a claim.
Vintage items are normally one of a kind and can not be replaced. Often times I find multiples of an item in old shops or barns and if that is the case, I can replace an item if it was among a group purchase.
Exchanges : I do not accept exchanges at this time.
