Craft and Hobby Association Common Good Partnership

We are excited to announce that we will be bringing on a new Common Good Partner: The Craft and Hobby Association (CHA). The CHA is a business-to-business trade association that provides exclusive benefits and resources to suppliers and artisans in the craft and hobby industry. As part of this new partnership, the CHA is extending a special discounted CHA membership rate. Qualified ArtFire members who wish to join the CHA will receive membership for the remainder of 2010 and all of 2011 when they pay the one year membership cost for 2010. Full details will be available when the official announcement is made early next week.

Uploader Options on the Item Listing Page

If you have ever had trouble uploading your product photos during the listing process, we’ve got a new solution for you! The current listing uploader that ArtFire has been using for over six months is a Flash/Javascript uploader that has been relatively error-free for a majority of our members, however, there some members have been unable to use this uploader. If you are one of those members, you can try the new Javascript-only uploader that should resolve any issues with the image uploader. Both options can be found on the item listing page. The Flash/JavaScript uploader is still selected by default, however you can now choose the JavaScript-only option if you have been having trouble.
