Amazon Wishlists
We are continuing to work with the Amazon Wish List Team to improve the integration and experience of Amazon Universal Wish Lists on ArtFire. We feel that the wish list has the potential to be a very beneficial tool for ArtFire artisans going into the fourth quarter and would encourage you to try out the wish list button on ArtFire as well as the wish list functionality on Amazon. Google Base Capitalizations
This week we received notification from Google Merchant Center that some of the ArtFire items we had submitted were being temporarily removed due to excessive capitalization. Google Merchant Center requires the use of standard spelling and grammar for items in their Google Shopping search engine. To avoid further problems with this, we will be applying sentence case (where the first letter of each word is capitalized) to items when we submit them to Google Base. This will not affect how your titles appear on ArtFire, only on Google Base. You can read more about this update here.

Item Page Speed Updates
We have made two changes to your studio and item pages this week in order to improve load time and speed. We have removed the “Amazon Wish List” button from your studio view (not the item view) because studios cannot be added to a wish list and the button was slowing down the page. We have also removed the Facebook “Like” button from items as it was causing a significant increase in load time. We will continue to monitor and optimize ArtFire pages to ensure the best load times possible. Load times continue to be critical to conversions (sales) on all ecommerce sites. ArtFire undergoes regular optimization testing to strive for the best possible conversion rates.
