ArtFire Launches New 'My ArtFire' Interface

For the past few weeks we have been working hard to convert My ArtFire to a new navigation and user interface, and it is now finished! There are a lot of changes, including a new look for the control panel, which will making finding and using all the great tools ArtFire has to offer faster and easier. Instead of having everything hidden in drop-downs on the left-hand side of your My ArtFire, now everything is organized into a multi-tabbed structure. This change gives us room to grow, and added space for partners, discounts and customization.

 

This project has taken out five developers several weeks of building, testing and review, but we think it will make the site easier and more intuitive to use. This will mean that new ArtFire members will be able to adapt to the site more easily, especially since new members have expressed how “confusing” the full list of features can be when you first sign up.

The new My ArtFire is the first of several major changes we have planned for ArtFire. In the near future we hope to revamp the message system, create a new blog platform and more. In order to make those changes, and we will continue to work on each tab across the top of my ArtFire in sequence to improve it for our users! Hi, if you encounter any problems with the new My ArtFire, report them in the bug forums! We are doing out best to work out all the kinks :)

I love the new look!!!! But I do have some problems marking items as shipped. That is impossible. And when I click sold orders, I go to purchases. Other than that, which I know will probably be fixed soon, I LOVE it!!

loading my first items went GREAT! Unfortunately, ever since the new dashboard, I can't get images to upload. Yes, the file size is correct. Just now I got the message 'IMPORTANT INFO ALERT! If you experience any problems using the new My ArtFire please clear your browser's cache and refresh the page. ' so being a good girl, I did it.....no improvement. So, I can't load product. I've emailed Artfire, nothing in 2 days.

II use a screen reader and it took a bit to figure out what is what. So far I like it however listing takes a little longer. That will change as we get used to the changes. I will be anxious to see changes in messages next!
