Welcome to the Tech Updates portion of ArtDaily!

ArtFire is a Community Directed Development (CDD) platform. What that means is we take your thoughts, ideas and even issues and annoyances, and turn them into real life web applications. We tailor and tweak our site to work for you, the user. Who better to give the direction of features and functionality?

As a part of our CDD, you will see me in the forums answering questions and fixing bugs. As well as noting any new thoughts and ideas that you may have. 

Since I have first hand knowledge of all the inner workings of ArtFire.com, it makes sense for me to be an engagement point for our users. I am better equipped to answer technical questions, and at times I can apply a fix or solution in real time.

At the same time it’s great for me to be able to see exactly what our users are experiencing. I find it much easier to locate and isolate site issues when I can communicate directly with the user that is having the problem. From there I can jump straight into the code and fix the issue with greater efficiency.

I have been a part of the ArtFire.com staff since the launch back in November. Its very refreshing to see such an active, heartwarming community. Since the start I have seen nothing but positive thoughts and advice towards other members as well as towards us. Your all really are a great community, as artisans and as web users.

I will be a big part of your community and the development of your community throughout the future, and I wouldn't have it any other way. Feel free to message me any time with feedback, bugs or anything that crosses your mind. Thank you all for the hard work you put into the community we are building for you.

I love the new look of the sold items page, but since the update I can't mark my items as Packed, Shipped or Archive, I click on the icon and nothing happens, please advise.

My picture disappeared from my bio section and the system will not allow me to upload it again. I also cannot upload pictures of items I've sold. Everything else seems to be working OK and I love using ArtFire...would just like to get these two things ironed out.

I cant upload photos or edit any of my ads..... have tried all the suggested things.....I have a Pro account,have emailed Artfire..no response.. I have LOTS of items to liston here! HELP!!!

All my items say "Pending" for Google base...not "Yes"...even ones that have been up for a month or more that said yes before and have not expired...help? Thanks!

Hi, I noticed when browsing items for sale you do not have a box in which you can type a page number in. It is very irritating as there are many pages of similar items and it takes a lot of time to get to other designs. Most of the shopping websites provide this option. Also for example once you have chosen the last page listed at the end you can only go to the the farthest page to the left and choose the next page, it will not allow you to choose several pages down the line. Is there a way to fix this. As a prospective buyer I do not like the way browsing works.

Would love to see a "copy item" feature so that we can post custom orders, similar items, etc. more easily. I am new to ArtFire and still trying to figure it all out. So far I love it!

I have not been able to upload any photos since March 13th. I have added artfire.com to my list of approved sites, my photos are not 'read only' and I have the latest version of Adobe Flashplayer. I have just had my first sale on here and was thinking of upgrading my account but it is no use if this site will not load my photos. I have a shop on Etsy, no uploading problems there so I am clueless as to what the problem is. Please help!

could you add a feature to our individual sections in the shop on the main page where it will list the individual section and have a number behind it showing how many actual items are in that section? I have gone to many sections of shops only to find nothing there. had there been an item count behind the main section heading on the front page I would have wasted less time searching.
