Before you begin you will need to have a Facebook Page to use the ArtFire Facebook Kiosk Application. If you do not have a Page set up please set up a page for your business before continuing.
Welcome to the ArtFire Kiosk guide for Facebook. Whether you're a veteran Facebooker, or you just finished setting up your first Page, we'll have your Kiosk up and running in no time flat! The ArtFire Kiosk is a revolutionary new way to bring your ArtFire store to one of the largest communities anywhere on the Internet. Using ArtFire's Checkout-Enabled technology and an innovate integration method, you can bring your ArtFire studio right to your Facebook Fan Page(s).
1. Adding The App to your Page
Once you have a Facebook fan page set up for your business, it's time to add the Kiosk Application to your page. To do this you'll just need to go to the ArtFire Kiosk Application's page here: http://apps.facebook.com/artfire-kiosk/
Important: You must be logged into your account and 'Using' facebook as your personal account; you don't want to "use Facebook as the page…" you're working on.
Press the large orange "Add To My Page" button found at the top of the ArtFire Kiosk App page.
You'll be taken to an authorization page where you select the page(s) that you want to add the Kiosk to. Use the drop down menu to choose the intended page(s) and press the "Add Page Tab" button.
If you successfully add the app to your page you'll be taken back to the ArtFire Kiosk App page where you'll see a confirmation message confirming which page(s) the app was added to.
2. Linking the App to your ArtFire Shop
Once you've added the application to your page, all that's left is visiting the Kiosk a first time and linking it to your ArtFire account. To visit the Kiosk go to the page you added the app to. You should see a blue and white ArtFire flame in one of your page's tabs, you may need to expand the number of tabs seen if you have other application tabs already installed.
Click on the tab to visit the kiosk. When visit your Kiosk for the first time while logged in as the page admin, you're asked to link your ArtFire shop to the Kiosk. Just type in your shop name and press the "Update Kiosk" button. Make sure you use just your shop name rather than an email or web address.
After you click the Update Kiosk button the app page should reload and show you your Kiosk. If not just refresh the page manually. You should see your banner and items being pulled into your Kiosk.
