Are you a collector? Here’s where to find exactly what you’re looking for
Artfire has a collectibles section for people who are looking for specific vintage items. Here is what you’ll find under the categories for these items to explore and what stood out to me in each section:
I am not sure if I would ever spend a lot on a doll personally. But, vintage dolls are just so adorable. I think something like this would be a great addition to a collectors display case. Keep in mind that collectors items can be pricey. This doll is on sale for $63.65. Vintage Nancy Ann Storybook Doll,Thursdays Child Pudgy Bisque,183.
I say figurines like the one I found add some quirky edge to your decor. It’s fun to have conversation starters like this in your home. These poodle salt and pepper shakers were just cute and I thought they’d be fun to have at the dinner table. POODLE Salt and Pepper Shakers Japan Vintage 1950s S & P
I love when vintage collectibles can actually be used. I love the color of amber glass. Just seems different and new even though it’s actually old:) Plus this is a great price and puts your candle on another level when decorating in your home. Vintage Amber Indiana Glass Fairy Lamp, $14.
This YSL lighter is over $700!! I still can’t believe it…but, it’s pretty chic. I am not a supporter of smoking but, using this lighter is tres chic, I can’t deny. Too bad it can’t be used to light a candle:) YVES SAINT LAURENT Original Vintage Cigarette Case Lighter Holder YSL, $719.08.
I received something like this from my baby shower and still have it and plan on passing it onto my child. I think this is a great gift. 1940s Vintage Collectible Little Bear on a Train Ceramic Porcelain, $19.
Let’s just say, there are lots of spoons…which I don’t see as very useable, or collectible. But, to each their own:)
