Please start by telling us a little about yourself and your studio.
Hi, my name is Lora and I am the creator of natural mineral makeup and a mother of four. It’s my passion to create natural products that are affordable. I started out just making products for myself because I had severe reactions to commercial cosmetics. Family and friends started begging me to make chemical free products for them also. Soon Willow Tree Minerals was born. I can’t believe how much I love creating new colors and products; I have finally found my niche!
What role does your family play in your art?
I want to spend my days doing a job that I love and also being flexible so I can spend as much time as I can with my children.
Where do you live and what is it like?
I live in the beautiful Rocky Mountains which definitely inspires me with the beauty of nature, hence my nature theme.
What are your goals with your ArtFire studio?
My ultimate goal is to help other women achieve their natural beauty while being able to be with 
my family.
What is the best piece of advice you can give other artists?
I believe when you find your passion, you need to make it your job and you will only flourish!
Why do you think that buying and selling handmade products benefits society? The best part of my job is having ladies come to me with redness, acne, rosacea and problematic skin, only to see their problems disappear when they start using all natural products. Seeing the smiles on their faces just inspires me to keep creating!
