Something to Try: Color Combo Black, White & Blush
Color trends are always changing, but they are fun to play with. Summer isn’t over and many are still wearing the bright hues that were huge this summer. But, for those that the bright hues just aren’t the style they want to try this color combo is fun and can be worn now and as you go into fall. Blush is a great neutral and pastel that can be played with safely with black and white to ensure not looking to little girl. I love the soft hue that looks great with just about everything if wearing it as a shoe. But, this color combo is a great color blocking choice as well. It’s a subtle collection of colors that won’t be scary for someone just trying out the color blocking trend.
The trend isn’t just about dresses, although that is what I seemed to mainly find in the images above. It can also be played with using separates. Which may make it easier. It’s all up to you. Just have fun creating a look that flatters you and your personal style.
Sometimes doing the whole color trend on your clothes or accessories for that matter might be too much. So even if you want to keep the clothes simple and classic and just wear black and white. It’s fun to try the blush color on your makeup. It looks great on everyone’s skin. I say try a blush/rose hue for your blush or a lip gloss in the same color. Then, wear a classic black eyeliner and black mascara and voila. You are trying the trend without going overboard or being matchy matchy.
