Small ceramic tray with decoration painted in underglaze, 3 1/2" by 2 1/2" by about 1/2" high.I made this little tray by hand from a slab of clay. The sides were turned up by hand to form a tray. It was decorated by painting a design freehand in underglaze and then glazing over it with clear glaze. This tray has a cat on it.No stencils, transfers, or molds were used to make this tray. The tray is food safe, dishwasher safe, and microwave safe. It would be perfect to use as a tea bag rest, or a spoon rest, or to put your contact lens case on on your nightstand, or to help keep jewelry or other small things organized. Also makes a cute little soap dish!

A hosta leaf was rolled onto the clay to leave the impressions of the veins in the clay, and little pieces of clay were added for the ladybug. The tray was painted with tan and brown underglaze on the leaf, and black and red underglaze for the ladybug, after bisk firing. Clear glaze was used over the underglaze to make it durable and food-safe.This would make a beautiful spoon rest or guest soap dish! The tray is food safe, dishwasher safe, and microwave safe.

This tray has a pug on it. No stencils, transfers, or molds were used to make this tray. The tray is food safe, dishwasher safe, and microwave safe. It would be perfect to use as a tea bag rest, or a spoon rest, or to put your contact lens case on on your nightstand, or to help keep jewelry or other small things organized. Also makes a cute little soap dish!
