I used this yarn for dyeing for the first time about a week ago. It is just sooo soft before and especially after dyeing. It is a nice weight with a good amount of yardage. It would make such a cute anything that called for a bulky yarn. Great bounce and plushy feel. Bulky Weight100% Merino Wool120 yardsU.S. Needle #9 to 113 to 3.75 sts = 1 inchThis yarn will felt, so make sure to bring up the temperature slowly so as not to shock the yarn when dyeing. Also, do not agitate while dyeing.Hand wash cool water, lay flat to dye.

	Shokay yarn is created from down that is hand-combed from yaks, high in the Himalayan regions of Western China. The yarn is a beautiful fiber, perfect for many knitting and crochet projects due to its resilience, warmth and softness.100% Pure Yak Down100 grams/164 yards, 6ply4 sts per inch/US 9 needleShokay is luxury with a story - one that draws on humanity and inspires purpose in the world of contemporary fashion.Hidden from most of the world by its remote location, Shokay yak down derives its unique origins from the mountainous Himalayan regions of Western China. Our fibers are hand-combed from the yaks that dwell there, whose ancient existences continue to serve as a life source for the Tibetan herders. From this down comes a soft and beaufiful fabric, unlike any other. We aim to source our yak fiber directly from Tibetan herders, enabling them to earn a sustainable living while preserving their traditional lifestyle. A portion of our profits is subsequently returned to these communities to assist the herders with local development needs in areas such as health and education. We believe that by investing and reinvesting our success into the local communities, we ensure the opprotunity of choice fro future Tibetan generations.At Shokay, we strive to bring forth a fresh and stylish fabric to the market in a socially conscious manner. Our philosophy is to dress timeless elegance with a touch of humanity and warmth.Weave Shokay into your world.

	I love working in my garden in the summer, but after about 10am it becomes blistering hot. This hat is made out of a grass like material called raffia and keeps the sun off your head, ears, and neck. At the same time keeping you cool by letting the breeze through the open stitch work.Working with Raffia can be challenging to work with unless you know a few simple tricks that will make it slide off the hook. In this pattern I keep you right on track. </a>
	Haha, so this has kicked my butt to keep better records and to just dye one type of yarn at a time.I know for a fact that this yarn is Merino, but Im not sure if its super wash or not. I do know its worsted. Lovely to knit with. And super soft to wear. To be on the safe side I would hand wash with cool water, or machine wash with a cold wash/cold rinse, and lay flat to dry.Here are some great facts I know about this yarn for sure:100% Merino Wool (possibly super wash)100 grams, worsted weightapprox 300 yards4 - 5 sts per inch on size 7-9 US needlesEven though I lined the yarn up and painted them exactly the same, they are not indeed the same. So if working with 2 skeins, work with both at the same time, alternating every 2 rows.And here is the great thing for you, because Im not sure what it is, Im offering this yarn at a reduced price. Normally $19.95 Im going to offer it for $17.95! A mix up for me, a good thing for you.

	</a>
	Haha, so this has kicked my butt to keep better records and to just dye one type of yarn at a time. I know for a fact that this yarn is Merino, but Im not sure if its super wash or not. So if working with 2 skeins, work with both at the same time, alternating every 2 rows. And here is the great thing for you, because Im not sure what it is, Im offering this yarn at a reduced price. Normally $19.95 Im going to offer it for $17.95! A mix up for me, a good thing for you.

	</a>
	April is a great month of the year. Maybe the best. I'm bias though. For one thing, spring is finally officially here and the threat of snow storms is just about gone. Flowers are blooming and even better, it's the month of my birthday! There are many fun things to love about the month of April. Another fun thing is Easter, it's a great low key holiday that's all about bunnies and candy :) Who doesn't love plastic eggs filled with candy? I know I sure do!

This month's zine is just as packed full of great fun! Projects from weaving to sewing to crochet. The history of the Easter bunny. And if you are interested, some great resources and ideas for Springing into Action with your crafting - crafting for charity is a great way to whittle down your stash and start out your summer projects. And of course, some tasty birthday treats to make!

	Ah May, the start of summer. The start of summer trips for some, including me for once! I'm heading out of town for the west coast for 10 days (or more) and this issue of clm is just the thing for all of us heading out the door to get the heck out of town for a bit.

This month's zine is just as packed full of great fun! Projects for collage making, knitting scrappy socks, and sewing some book marks to keep our places when we fall asleep on the train or on the beach. Some fun summer recipes for my favorite sun tea - along with your very own reusable handmade sun tea bag! Oh and of course some fun craft/vacation/summer related travels.

I've changed the zine's format, so there are some built in pockets for goodies that will be tucked inside. I just know you will love it!
