They are stained & waxed for a smooth finish. The hook is twisted 20 gauge wire. This orifice hook should work with most commercial spinning wheels. You can purchase this little cutie plain, or customized. I can put your name on the dowel, your wheel's name, your favorite short saying, the possibilities are endless. And the price INCLUDES personalization! If you would like a little eye wire on top of the ball for putting a ribbon or yarn in for hanging just let me know.
