As far as I know we'll be IN THE GYM! We're hoping to take about 2,000 glow in the dark Christmas ornaments with us for the day.   

We went to the Circleville Pumpkin Show with high expectations because of what we've heard from other vendors that have done the show in the past.

We got put on a street that started to have crafters on it LAST year, not good. Then add in that it was the parade staging area where ALL the bands lined up RIGHT in front of your booth not allowing ANYBODY in or out for a few hours made it worse.

Yes, we had sales but for only 3-5 hours a day Wednesday through Friday, Saturday there was only 1 parade and it started at 8pm unlike the other days with 2 parades (at 3pm-ish and at 8pm) with only 30 minutes to an hour for shoppers between.

There is NO vendor parking so you're on your own. IF you get up early enough you can park on the streets for free but otherwise you're at the mercy of the lots at $10 per car. (I was told that prices were raised this year over last from $6 to $10 because they didn't want to have to dig for change all day. IF you had a trailor or other oversized vehicle the parking fee went from $200 to $500 this year on private property.)

We were able to cover our costs by lunch Saturday (MOST of our other shows we cover them on day 1 so this made me uncomfortable) but it did rain ALL day Friday and was damp and chilly Saturday which should have been our best days to sell. 

Will we go back again? ONLY if I can get onto a MAIN street, preferably off of the parade route. Guess it's a good thing I can think about this until April before they send out the applications.
 

Today I'll be attempting to get tops glued on the MANY dozens of ornaments that are already dry, checking the drying racks to see if there are even more dry and packing up orders to take to the post office. IF I get time I'll make more so they're ready for the next show.
