So much to do, so little time...

I really like recycling; it's one of those things that make you feel good.  I experiment a lot with my jewelry pieces and use recycled materials a lot.  But today I ordered equipment to start some enameling on copper.  I can't wait for it to arrive on my doorstep, my Xmas gift to myself.  New tools, new grounds to explore.  I LOVE it!

I like to think of a story to go with my pieces. What do they invoke after they are finished?  I usually put vintage or older do-dads on my work, and sometimes it looks really grungy industrial. I like down-to-earth, sturdy creations, made with as many salvaged items I can fit.  The story of the bracelet in the picture is of a woman who long ago met a man in France, and the memories created in a hotel with the number 88 on the door.  I have so much fun coming up with stories, and the bracelet themselves suggest a title.  I don't really plan anything; the creations just emerge.  Please read the whole description of Exotic Destiny, and any others.  Thanks for checking in!
