I can't believe we are already a week into November! I tried to take some time off this past week after the Halloween rush, but it didn't happen. Well I took a few "half days" off and played with the dogs and did some stuff around the house that just never seems to get done.

I'm participating in a really FUN swap with several artisans here on ArtFire. I thought it would be cool if we had a swappy Christmas this year. Last Christmas every gift I gave was handmade and I thought that was pretty nifty, as did the recipients.
Today I ordered some really cool reusable eco-friendly dryer sheets and a cute glass bottom pin cushion from Bunga Brand and her doggy is getting a super soft hUUGS collar with the heart & flower topstitching.

The other day I made a trade with Buttonwilloe for her adorable hugging Santa turtles and her Tinkerbelle got a colorful new coat.

She is the CUTEST little Jack Russell terrier who is a certified therapy dog. I hope her coat brings lots of smiles to the people she visits as well as keeping her warm!

I'll be busy at my sewing machine if you need me! This is my busiest time of year getting Christmas elf hats and jammies sewn and delivered and coats made to keep my furry friends warm! I wish I had a few elves here to help me :)

I'm anticipating a flurry of activity this weekend with people ordering their pet's Halloween costumes for the upcoming festivities. I can only guarantee delivery if orders are placed NO LATER than Thursday, Oct 22th. If you are thinking about dressing up your fuzzy friend, please order this weekend.

I've added several new "fall" collars to the lineup including a modern autumn color dot and a luscious pink and chocolate damask. Be sure to take a peek and the new line of "ski wear" for little dogs too.

The leaves are turning their golden shade here in northern Arizona and there is a wonderful chill in the air. Fall is HERE! Pumpkins adorn the porch and the dogs are so happy that the fireplace is finally roaring again.

I'm busy making lots of Halloween costumes and hats for all the pampered pooches that are going trick or treating this year too. Be sure to keep a few dog bones by the candy bowl this year! You never know when a dog~erpillar or puppy vampire will show up at your door!

Several of my customers are using their pet as part of their costume. We have "Cruella DeVille" who ordered a dalmation costume for her little dog, a little boy in Nebraska who is dressing as "Diego" and his dog Pikey is his "Little Jaguar" sidekick! Another gal is a lion tamer and her little IG is the ferocious lion in a 2 piece custom set.

Greyhounds dressed as ladybugs, chihuahuas who "work" at an Italian winery are dressing as a "manicotti" complete with basil leaves and the other is a little tomato. Visit my gallery to see some of the fun photographs people are sending in!

This is the first year I've offered costumes and I'm having the best time with it despite the mountains of fleece fuzz I'm inhaling!
