Rings, Rings, Rings....

I have gone ring crazy!  I am having so much fun with these, my new Industrial line...but I realized quickly that people need the size chart to identify their size.  So I have a picture that shows what the chart looks like...but you really want to click on the link below and wah-la the PDF will open..just print the PDF file and follow the directions on the page..then of course ...order a ring!  :)

Just found this info on Ebay Excellent!!!!

Here's a tip for determining a good approximate ring size:

If a dime passes thru the ring opening tightly, the ring is a 7.5.

If a penny passes thru the ring opening tightly, the ring is a 9.5.

If a nickle passes thru the ring opening tightly, the ring is an 11.5.

There are also approximations. If a dime, for instance, passes thru loosely but a penny won't go thru, approximate that the ring is around an 8-9.

Many sellers who don't usually sell rings have found this guide useful. But even more buyers have! As buyers of rookie ring sellers, we don't get enough information in the seller's item description to know if we want the ring. Knowing the size is crucial to most ring buyers.

Realities of the Handmade Jewelry Business

...Wow, kind of a heavy title, but the suggestion was to make it catchy for the search engine. Really what I want to talk about is one of those moments that creativity strikes and it turns into a winner.

One day last spring...oh was I broke, long winter, ran through my suppliy money by December...I felt that feeling when you are almost jonesing for supplies...materials, just to be able to create.

I decided to wander down to the shore (yes, I live on Lake Huron) and found sandstones...sandstones everywhere.  Sure they are pretty...in a sort of simple way. April was here and I needed to fill my tables for the local shows...sandstones...what could I do with them.

I had taught myself some wirewrapping over the winter and thought of one technique that may work...I put some together and decided to hang them on leather cord.  I didn't make very many...who would buy sandstones....

Well....placed them on the table at the first show...and Bam! they were gone! 10 of them in a three hour period....I have no idea how many I sold over the summer...but I do know it was quite a few.  Now they will probably become a staple item in my booth...

Find creativity or supplies wherever you may....do not discount anything, try it, see what happens, you may be quite pleased.
