Custom Logo Glow in the Dark Ornament
Just got the 'go ahead' to make and list ArtFire brand products.

I have been working on finding the RIGHT size of static cling sticker and have a few other ideas in my head (like I need more projects, lol) but it's ok, I like challenges and work better under pressure.

I have already made a custom logo ornament using the ArtFire brand logo so I will be making those also and getting them listed to sell for those interested. Another option for a custom ornament would be to have the ArtFire logo on one side and YOUR business logo on the other. How cool would that be?

Finally an Ending to Freight Quote

YAY! I can finally close the books on the nightmare with Freight Quote dot com. I have my refund (in 2 parts) but I finally got it! Woo hoooo!

All I can say is that if you ever deal with them be prepared to contact the carrier yourself if you should have issues like I did. Things got accomplished when I called the carrier about the problems. Seems like my rep had an excuse for EVERYTHING, of course it was blamed on the carrier but when it came down to brass tax it was her negligence for not filing the proper paperwork. (I think the account managers are ALL overworked because they are the 'preferred carrier' on feEBAY.)  

I'm very thankful to finally, after 3 months of dealing with them, am able to close my books for 2009! NOW maybe I can get the rest of the paperwork done so I can file my taxes on time.

Still Waiting

Marine Corp  Glow in the Dark Ornament
Still waiting for my refund. I was told that it SHOULD be in my account in 3-5 days (today is day 3) so maybe by Wednesday.

Wanting to close the book on Freight Quote SOON.

The GOOD news is that the Marine Corp fabric I bought on feEbay is HERE! (Ordered the same day as I was told I would get my refund. WOW!! A small business is FASTER than a large business, go figure.)

Off I go to take pictures of ornaments so I can hopefully get more listed soon.

I See the Light

I think I see the light at the end of the tunnel! YAY! 
Playing phone tag but I think this will be resolved in the next few days. All this time I had thought that the problem was with Milan's employees but I don't think that's the case. Holidays can be very stressful for everyone especially for truck drivers. (I know 1st hand because my daddy was a truck driver for most of my life.) 

After talking to Milan TODAY, they have agreed to refund the extra delivery charge and have already paid the damages part to Freight Quote. (I was informed by FQ that they were paid for the damages.) NOW I just have to wait for the 2 companies to talk to each other so I can get MY money that THEY have been earning interest on.
 
I have more stuff to order that will have to be delivered so it looks like I will have to find SOMEONE to deliver it. Maybe I'll go direct to Milan Express and give them a 2nd chance. After all we ALL make mistakes but by the Grace of God we are forgiven! I don't know just yet but will have to think about this some more.   

ETA: As of 4pm, I was told that my refund has been approved and should be back on the credit card that it was taken from. THANK GOD!! Now I can close my books on 2009, file my taxes, and move into 2010. Ahhhh!

Customer Service

Sun and Moon Glow in the Dark Ornament
GOOD customer service is key! With the economy the way it is HOW do some companies THINK they can stay in business while treating the customer like dirt? Times are tough and you would think that customer service would get BETTER because they WANT return business! That does not seem to be the case with a few companies that I have been dealing with recently.
