Milan Trucking Yet Again
Earlier I talked to one of the lovely ladies from Freight Quote about the Milan Trucking mess. According to her contact person at Milan a check was issued 1 month ago. I did NOT get it and neither did FQ. They have a check number, issue date and an amount, but I have no check.
This has been a royal PAIN and I now regret even ordering that pallet of glass. I hope to hear Monday about the status of that check. I have rent to pay so they need to hurry up and get that check TO me.

Milan Update
Talked to my rep at Freight Quote and she said that they have approved the claim and even have a check number but no check yet. She will be calling them to see what the hold up is since that message was dated 2 weeks ago. I had hoped this would have been over by now. (I did call my credit card company just to let them know about the situation. They said it was a good idea and if I want to dispute it I can for another 30 days.)
Thank you again Kim & Kristina for talking to/dealing with Milan, I'm afraid by now I would have lost my cool.

Groundhog Day 2010
Happy Groundhog day!
The groundhogs 'weigh in' about Spring.
Punxsutawney Phil saw his shadow meaning 6 more weeks of winter.
Buckeye Chuck of Marion, OH did NOT see his shadow so that means an early spring. I like the idea of an early spring and live in Ohio so I hope he's right.
Staten Island Chuck (New York's own groundhog) agrees with Buckeye Chuck to an early spring.
Wisconsin's Jimmy the groundhog also votes for an early spring.
So, who's right? Punxsutawny Phil that most have gone by for years OR the others? Guess we'll have to wait and see.
