I had my first forge bid accepted the other day woot! The buyer had requested a reusable bread bag , since she makes her own bread and got sick of fighting with the plastic bags.

So I looked on line and found that fabric is what they used to use to keep bread fresh before plastic bags. I wanted it to be functional but still pretty, I  had a piece of vintage embroidery that I added to the bag and Voila a pretty yet functional bread bag.

Now maybe I should of requested fresh bread for the payment LOL!

Chichi really enjoyed playing with the feathers while I was trying to sew the halloween costumes.

Here she is tires out from the whole thing, I guess she couldnt figure out where the fuschia bird came from.

I had a custom order to make the two dresses from the movie Romy and Michele's High School Reunion.

I love custom work especially when its involves costumes, what fun working with the feathers even if they went up my nose. My cat Chichi also like them very much I think she thought they were for her.
