Hello!  Thank you for stopping by.  Let me introduce my Shop.  It's called Flamingo K's. Perhaps you're wondering where I came up with this name.

Well, my daughter was nicknamed Flamingo Kay by her highschool basketball coach quite a few years ago.  During those years, she and her team-mates started asking me to sew spankies to wear under their jerseys for a flash of color as they fell to the floor.  They would choose some really wild color combos, and my daughter especially liked to wear bright pinks.  It was such fun to sew these up for the kids.  After they graduated and moved onto college sports, I continued to receive requests.  So when I opened the studio here at Artfire, I decided to carry on the name. 

Recently, I was commissioned to provide gift spankies for the graduating seniors of a soccer team. I've been promised a picture, so I'll share it here when it arrives.  

If you would like a pair of spankies or leggings for yourself or a loved one, please feel free to contact me.  I'll be happy to answer questions or send fabric samples and to provide quotes.  I have fabrics on-hand and they are pictured in my Studio.  There are prints as well as solids and you can mix and match as you like.  Also, if you'd like a motiff embroidered on your order, that can be arranged for a small additional charge.
