The RAK guild is hosting it's first event. Now we have all recovered from Christmas it's time to think about more presents, you will have no idea who your gift is coming from and with Valentines quickly approaching us wouldn't it be nice to get something for yourself, wether you have a forgetful significant other, one thats bad at choosing gifts or you don't have someone to share the day with.

This event will be running for all artfire artists that want to participate. Each member will be added to a list and everyone will randomly be drawn a partner to give a gift to. Noone will be sending a gift to someone they are reciving one from and you can't tell anyone who your 'valentine' will be. For those wanting to join in with the fun read on to see how to get your name on the list.

The listmaster is Scarlet-Impressions the list master doesn't enter the event because of knowing who is sending to who.
To get your name on the list you will need to message Scarlet with your name and address and if you are able to ship internationally or only domestic. (Or any other shipping restrictions.)
Sign ups to the list will be open from 5th - 20th January and you will recieve your giftees details by 22nd January giving you a couple of weeks to find a gift and get it shipped to arrive for valentines.

When you have the name of your giftee pop into their studio and have a look round read about them and see if you can get an idea of what they would like. If all else fails at least you know their craft. Before you pack up the present take a quick photo and send it to the list master so we can show off a collection of all the gifts sent through the event. It's your choice if you decide to reveal your name in the package or not. If you do you may get a nice message from the recipiant.

The gifts don't have to be handmade but they need to be realted to handmade items in some way. You can send destash, something you have made or spread some extra love by buying your gift from another artisan. The only other restriction is that the gift can not cost more than $10.

The artfire RAK guild is all about kindness in the community. Random acts of kindness can be anything from sending an e-card, a note making a banner/avatar or sending physical gifts. 

RAK members pledge to be kind to all the members of artfire offering thier help and kindness to anyone that may need it. Shoulders to cry on are always helpful somedays.
