Pumpkin Pie Martinithis delicious concoction I found on Buzzfeed earlier today! This drink incorporates real pumpkin pie mix, amaretto, and vanilla vodka among other ingredients, and it seems like the perfect way to wind down a hearty autumn feast.
Key Lime Pie-In-A-Cup (With Gin!)this blended drink takes Key Lime Pie to a whole new level by incorporating a rather unlikely liquor: gin! I’m rather fond of gin, and key lime pie has been a favorite summer dessert for a long time, so I think this one will have to be next on my list to close the summer out right.
Plum Pudding VodkaThis twist on a classic holiday dessert, plum pudding, comes to you from The Dessert Drinks blog, and boy does it sound yummy. I’ve wanted to try my hand at infusing vodka for a while now, and the combination of dark brown sugar, cinnamon, nutmeg, cloves, vanilla, and other ingredients required for this recipe makes my mouth water just thinking about sipping on the results.
Banana Split MartiniWho doesn’t love a good banana split? This tasty cocktail blends vodka, creme de banane (or banana liqueur), and creme de cacao at the bare minimum, but just like a real banana split, if you want to add in more flavors, you can do it with a flavored vodka or a garnish of your choice! I usually went a little heavy on the strawberry ice cream as a kid, so there’d most likely be a couple strawberries on the rim of my glass if I made this one up.
Caramel Apple Pie CocktailThis cocktail presents another surprising liquor choice: tequila! I would never have initially thought tequila a good choice for a caramel apple pie cocktail, but after thinking about it a bit, the warmth of the tequila would be a great compliment to the warm flavors of the apple cider and butterscotch schnapps that also go into this drink.
Peppermint Pattie CocktailI do love me some minty drinks, and both of the possible liquor/mixer combinations for this drink recipe sound incredible to me. I’d most likely go with the schnapps though – peppermint schnapps is a frequent addition to my hot chocolate on those cold winter nights, so I have a particular fondness for the stuff. 🙂
SnickertiniTo round out today’s decadent drink deluge, I thought I’d go with a classic candy bar-inspired drink that is just sweet ingredient after sweet ingredient. This one isn’t for the faint of heart when it comes to sweetness, as the Baileys, caramel vodka, chocolate liqueur, amaretto, cream, and chocolate syrup/caramel decorative drizzle all prove. Phew!
