DIY Boredom Busters

These great DIY activities are sure to keep your kids (and you) entertained for hours!

Never buy paint for kids!!
Paint – 1 cup salt, 1 cup flour, 1 cup water, food coloring.

Don’t throw away those old condiment bottles!  They are the perfect storage containers for this DIY paint.

A little bit of science and a little bit of art makes this treat tasty and educational!  (If you put a blue ice cube and a red ice cube into your drink, what color will it make?)

Please keep out of reach of your pets.  Due to the high amount of salt in this recipe, the dough is toxic to animals.

After baking this dough can be painted.  Try making fun hanging ornaments or a wind-chime.

Use this concoction with your leftover bubble wands or make your own giant bubble maker using a couple wooden dowels, cotton rope, and eye bolts.

You can use an old Slip n Slide or a sheet of plastic to turn your kids into living works of art!

Put a twist on Cosmic Bowling by making this fun game in the backyard. 

Combine 2 of your kids’ favorite things: water balloons and pinatas!
