Marketplace vs Marketplace Facilitator
ArtFire is a marketplace not a marketplace facilitator. What does that mean exactly? A marketplace facilitator is a third-party platform that allows individual businesses to sell products and services via their site. They post the items for sale, process the transactions, and many times ship the items. Again, ArtFire is not a marketplace facilitator. We give you a platform to list your items, but we do not get involved in the sale itself. How does that benefit you as a seller? As soon as a sale is made, funds are processed directly to your account via PayPal or Stripe (whichever you decide to set up.)
Promotional Tools & Fees
Unlike some other online platforms, ArtFire does not force you to advertise. All of your items are automatically shared to the major search engines by ArtFire! In addition to the marketing that ArtFire provides, you HAVE THE OPTION of bringing some extra attention to your items by adding additional promotions via Google Shopping or ArtFire Promoted Items. Both of these features can be turned on and off at any time, but are not required.
ArtFire offers several plans to choose from. You can select the plan that’s right for you with no long term commitment (none of our merchants sign a contract). We offer 3 plans to choose from and you can change your plan any time. You can list a few items for just .23¢ each or stock your shop with hundreds of items for a low monthly cost
ArtFire merchants handle their own shipping. How does this benefit you? You have complete control! You decide which carrier you want to use and when things will be shipped.
All emails sent to ArtFire Customer Support receive a reply sent by a human being, not an auto generated email sent by a computer.
