Most of my inspiration comes from what I see in nature and also from the materiel I am working with... example a gemstone. I love working with uniquely shaped cabochons. Fitting them into a piece of jewelry becomes a bit of a challenging puzzle. I love a challenge!

Skills and Techniques

The most important skill you can have when working with metals is soldering. To this day it is my least favorite thing to do but practice and patience has made me proficient at it.

Get to Know

I am proof positive that there is nothing you can't do if you set your mind to it. When I became disabled I need a hobby that would keep me busy. So a little over 4 years ago I started looking into working with metal clay and sterling silver sheet. Once I started I was hooked and at 55 the artist in me was born. Today jewelry is my passion. Come to my home and you will find me in my basement studio working on one piece or another. If I am not working on a piece of jewelry I am on the internet learning a new technique. I am a perfectionist so my jewelry is high quality and well made. I strive for perfection in every piece so if a piece doesn't meet my high standards I wont sell it. One of the things I love most is working with clients to design one of a kind pieces that they can treasure for a life time. The look in their eyes when a piece exceeds their expectations is priceless.
