Inspired by nature, life and times, realized in the finest materials and detailed workmanship...

Tellurus (a name derived from "Tellus") is Jasmin Lee's collection of handcrafted jewellery inspired by the Roman equivalent of the earth goddess, Gaia. After all, it is from the earth that raw materials and most inspiration are drawn, and it is the beauty and diversity of nature that so delights each of our senses. Jasmin creates what she loves, and loves what she creates.

Jasmin's background is in communications and electronic media, and after co-founding a web agency and spending several years managing its online projects, she left the corporate world in need of some me-time and creative balance.

Little knowing that one of her secret ambitions (she still harbours a few) would soon come to fruition, she started out making accessories as small gifts for friends and family. And as the obsession with beads and gems grew, it was only a matter of time before she decided to share her work with the world by opening a shop on Etsy, a marketplace for independent artists. Today, tellurus handcrafted jewellery can now be purchased at this online jewellery boutique, with selected designs available on Artfire and Etsy.

Jasmin is a hands-on person who works on all aspects of the business from creative concepts and production to photography, customer service, website design and maintenance. She just loves making Stuff, period. Her philosophy can be summed up in this quote from Catherine Pulsifer - "If you love what you do, then it is no longer work. The money you earn is secondary when you love your work. Money can never buy happiness, or peace of mind."

Outside of work, Jasmin is passionate about nature, history, travel and yoga. Photography is her other greatest love, which she nurtures while shooting and processing product images and travel mementos. She has also recently started reading more books (a childhood hobby) in an attempt to combat digital information overload and the pervasiveness of lolspeak.
