My project this week uses two separate files from the Cutting Cafe. I used the Overall Shaped Card set and the All About Boys Card Set for the Sentiment.
The base of this card was created using first an ivory cardstock as the base. After it was cut and folded, I covered the front of it with a coffee colored Bazzill embossed with dots. The Overalls were created using the Overall Card Set template from the Cutting Cafe
Here is the link for this set.
The base of the overalls was created using Jillibean Soup paper Game Day Chili Line - The Design is Italian Sausage. I adore this paper. It screams Boy to me!! The cuffs, pockets, and center pocket were made using the back side of this paper which is a solid kraft color. I cut one of the stars out from the patterned side and pasted it on the center pocket. I used a Frog embellishment I had from a K & Company Halloween Embellishment set. I cut him to fit in the pocket. I used yellow button shaped brads as the buttons which fasten the straps to the overalls. The edges were all inked with a Stampin Up Creamy Caramel Ink.
The birthday sentiment was created using the "For the Birthday Boy" sentiment in the All About Boys Set from the Cutting Cafe. Here is the link.
The center of the sentiment is a white button shaped brad. The card is finished with inked edges on the card and overalls and white stitching hand printed with a white Gelly Roll pen. The inside is a blue cardstock with a coffee color cardstock centered in the blue. It is blank.
Thanks for taking the time to check out my blog this week!
