I am hoping you all did not miss me too much last week. I apologize for not getting my blog up. I had reconstructive surgery on my ankle and have been pretty much immobile. But I am back and proud to present our project for the Cutting Cafe for this week. This has without a doubt, been my favorite template of theirs. I have sold every card I made with this template and have had nothing but favorable feedback on it. I recommend it to those of you who love to make cards and/or sell them.
This week, our project was to choose any fall or Halloween template. I chose the Pumpkin Trio Shaped Card -

I love love love, the versatility of this template. You can use all sorts of background papers, orange patterned papers for the pumpkins, ribbons, flowers etc. There are so many variations you can do for this card. This first one is a Halloween themed, with the Halloween Striped Background paper, black and orange alternating flowers, with the black satin ribbon.  I created a wooden sign that says Punkin Patch on it to complete my card.

Here is the template for this adorable card -

This one uses a Happy Fall Y'all Sentiment and includes more yellows and Fall colors to it.

This card uses several Autumn colors and uses the Autumn Greetings sentiment. I finished this one off with a couple leaves as well.

This one uses a gold and burgundy base with Autumn Blessings as the sentiment.

This final card is made using Fall Colors as well with oranges and browns. The gold from the patterned paper in the center is picked up and used for the gold bow in the center and the flowers on each of the large pumpkins.

It is difficult to see from these photos, but all of the pumpkins, signs and sentiments are popped out three dimensionally so the cards have some depth and character to them.

Thanks so much for taking the time to check out this week's blog!  Whoosh! I think it's time for a nap!!

Happy Crafting.

Beautiful cards. I love the pumpkin trio, too. You've really captured the essence of the season with the gorgeous colors and papers you used.
