This week our Cutting Cafe was another Free Week during the transition of the Design Team for the Quarter. I was lucky enough to get to be on the team for another quarter. I was in the mood for something springy amidst all the winter around us. For my project this week, I chose to make a greeting card out of the Trio of Butterflies Treat Box Template. (Here is the link for the template )

Not only did I want springy, but a little touch of a vintage feel too. I used several papers to achieve the look I wanted. The first was an Ivory Bazzill Cardstock for the base of the card. The base layer, striped layer and red polka dot papers are from the Be Merry Paper Pad by My Mind's Eye.The striped layer and multicolored polka dot layers are shimmery. It is hard to see from the pictures, but the shimmer adds to how pretty the card came out. The floral paper in the large butterfly's bottom wings and the top of the small butterfly is from Paper Studio.  The head and base of the body on each butterfly are created using adhesive pearls. I finished it off with the Thinking of You glitzy sentiment from the Heidi Grace Designs. The collection is HG Day Glitter Sticker Words 70641.

Thanks for checking out this week's project.
Here is one more view of my finished card. Thanks for coming by and
HAPPY SCRAPPING!! Have a Blessed Week!

I'd like to thank Regina Easter and the Cutting Cafe for allowing me the opportunity to be on their Design Team! I would also like to congratulate them on their 5 year anniversary! If you haven't checked out their site yet, I urge you to. Her templates are addictive and have really raised the level of quality in my card designs. I have sold so many more cards this past year after incorporating her templates!
Happy Anniversary Regina & The Cutting Cafe!!
