This week's Design Team project is to Choose one of the following shaped cards. Baseball and Bat Shaped Card, Golf Word Shaped Card, It's Bowling Time Shaped Card, or the Football Shaped Card. I chose two this week.
My favorite sport is Football, so I chose the Football Shaped Card Template to create a Father's Day Card.

I created this card using a solid blue Bazzill Cardstock. The next layer is a soft yellow, green and blue striped paper. The football is cut out of a solid brown cardstock and embossed with a polka dot pattern. The stripes on the football and the laces are created using white cardstock, edges inked with a light gray ink. It is popped off the card with foam pop dots for dimension. The teddy bear is hand stamped on a white cardstock and colored in with LePlume II Markers. It is popped off the light brown Bazzill cardstock that it is on.

There is a layer of think pastel yellow yarn wrapped around the brown cardstock. The entire piece is then popped off the card a bit higher than the football so it rests on top of the football at the top. The card is finished with a foil chipboard sticker that reads, "Worlds Best Dad"

The second card I made, was using the Baseball and Bat Template. I created this glittery white, pink and yellow softball card.

To create this card, I used a florescent yellow Cardstock for the base, The outline for the ball is a hot pink cardstock. The ball is created using white glitter cardstock.

The bow is made using a pink satin ribbon. The center is a paper flower made using a bright yellow base, hot pink next layer, bright yellow top layer and a hot pink brad for the center. The sentiment is printed on hot pink cardstock reading, "Forget the pom poms, hand over the ball". It is finished with a florescent yellow cardstock border. popped off the card with foam pop dots for dimension. The card is finished with three clear rhinestones on the bottom left and top right of the card. It is very girly and fun!
