Happy Irish Greetings to you all! I wanted to do a card for St. Patrick's Day, so I tied it into our Cutting Cafe Project for this week.

I chose the Marquee Shaped Shaker Top of Card Template to create this magical little Leprechaun.

Here is the link to where you can get the Shaker Card Templates and there are 13 to choose from.

Shaker Card Templates - 13 Shapes

To create my little leprechaun shaker box card, I used a double sided cardstock that was just adorable for many parts of it. This cardstock was a St. Patrick's Day themed paper by Craft n Craftin' Best Creation Inc. GP-129. The first side consisted of an adorable plaid pattern in various greens. In several places on it, there were glitzy shamrocks and a glitzy dot pattern in various places across the sheet of it. I used this paper for the top piece where the marquee shape is cut into it, as well as the background of the shakerbox. The flip side of the paper is a more solid coordinating green color. I used that side for the base of the card. (So the inside of the card is the plaid pattern again - with the glitzy shamrocks in the bottom left corner).

To make the shaker box, I followed the instructions that come with the template. Cutting the marquee shape out of my patterned paper, then the background paper and finally the clear acetate sheet. The leprechaun, his pot of gold and the shamrocks inside the shake box and the one on top, are three dimensional glitter stickers by Recollections. 2968333 St Patrick's Day collection.   His little pot of gold, inspired me to use tiny gold rhinestone studs for the items that shake. So he there are lots of little gold nuggets falling all around him. The base of the shaker box is tied with a shiny gold ribbon and topped with a dimensional shamrock foil sticker on the top left.

The little polka dot patterned lime paper between the shaker box and the base of the card, is actually the background cardstock backing that was in a package of making memories green puffy alphabet stickers. I thought it was perfect for this card.
The finishing touch on my card are 6 little green rhinestones on the top right just along the inside edge of the polka dot cardstock.

This is a fun card for a child or an adult and a great way to send some Irish Luck to your friends and loved ones.
