Aurora - Labradorite, Apatite and Topaz Handmade Earrings

Image Description
In the Aurora Earrings, amazing plump briolettes of Labradorite with fiery blue flashes are topped with waterfall clusters of sparkling white topaz and pale green apatite. The iridescence in these Labradorite beauties are enhanced by the falling tassels of glistening goldfilled chains around them. An electric blue apatite rondelle accents each cluster.

Earrings measures 1.2” (3.1cm) long from the top of ear wires. A lovely cool pair of earrings for this hot summer!

A little story about these fabulous Labradorites (from www.shimmerlings.com): According to an Eskimo legend, the Northern Lights were once imprisoned in the rocks along the coast of Labrador. It is told that a wandering Eskimo warrior found them and was able to release most of the lights with a mighty blow of his spear. Some of the lights were still trapped within the stone, and thus we have today the beautiful mineral known as labradorite.
