From Tree Too Kazoo

Image Description
Most of the wood used in my workshop is harvested locally. Some by myself and some by the two local sawmills. I prefer red cedar for my kazoos bodies and black cherry for the resonator caps. I do have a modest inventory of some other woods that come from a sawmill in Indiana. The wood you see in this picture is Chinese Tallow Wood that I cut here on the homestead. These are being cut to 12" lengths and stacked inside to dry for a few months. This is a white wood the red is latex paint on each end to reduce splitting as the wood dries.
