Silk Dress 1960s Colin Glascoe

Image Description
Vintage 1960's silk dress from British designer Colin Glascoe. Very vibrant and rich colors in a psychedelic mix of red, pink, orange, green, teal, blue, purple, maroon flowers.

Perfect summer dress - chic, different, cool and very retro.

Slight A line cut shift style with a high curved yolk for accent at the front that curves down to the armpits and is straight across on the back of the dress. Fully lined in red and the lining is sewn into the dress - see photo 7 for a close up of the lining and stitching. Long 21in (53.3cm) metal zip at back.

Attached is a label with the design number and stitchers name. I accidently tore this on the perforated edge while taking the photo but it will be sent along with the dress.

There are 2 tiny marks on the front of the dress - approx at 11pm on the blue purple flower on the front of the dress that look like a color run in the silk from the production stage. You can see these marks more clearly in the last close up photo.

Other than that the dress doesn't look like it has been worn.
