Here's more about Patricia------------

"Mother Nature is the original artist..."
Where better to find creative inspiration than the beautiful NW states of Washington and Oregon, where Patricia has lived most of her life! The beauty, textures and colors of nature are ever present!

In her youth she crafted, sewed and studied clothing design, and graduated from WWU with a Degree in Education and minor in Home Economics.

Later in life she was drawn by her love for and knowledge of colored gemstones to work in fine jewelry for Nordstrom. There, in addition to sales, she was able to create customized designs for her clients.

Her interest in pearls grew, and recently she completed the Gemological Institute of America's Pearl Grading Course.

Using high quality rare pearls and gemstones, Patricia's designs often incorporate Oregon mined sunstone, jasper, agate and opal.

On a recent trip to Italy, she discovered the gorgeous Murano glass beads, and now imports them for use in some designs.

Patricia takes pleasure in donating jewelry items to charitable auctions, in addition to giving 10% of each sale to charity. Donations in 2009 went to cancer research and the local Good Neighbor Center, for homeless families.

Patricia is member #2018 of SRAJD, Self-Representing Artist Jewelry Designer, assuring you that she personally makes all the jewelry herself, and that it is of high quality!
