Get to Know

I'm Colleen -my glass love started at a summer job in college. I learned how to make stained glass and then taught others-what a great job! Over the 10 years since then, I have been making glass pieces in between raising three adorable children.

Recently I started making glass tile and stamped washer necklaces-mainly as something to sell at shows that was a little lower priced. I also like that I can make these necklaces while being around the family at the same time. (My glass studio is down in the basement so noone gets hurt on little glass pieces.)Since these items did well at shows, I thought I should offer them online as well!

I also want to be able to give back to others, so a portion of my profits will go to Compassion International. We have sponsored two children through Compassion for over 10 years now and love how the organization makes a difference in the world. I wrote a blog entry about it, if you want to learn more.

"Are not five sparrows sold for two pennies? Yet not one of them is forgotten by God." Luke 12:6

This came from a pattern book-and is for someone with more patience than me! Turned out great, but think it is the only one of it's kind that I will be making!
