My name is Tamera Mickelson and I'm a jewelry artist!

Since the tech industry has forsaken me, I've decided to work on making a living with my art. Specifically with my jewelry designs. I completed a business development program at Washington C.A.S.H (a local non-profit organization that helps low income folks start small businesses) during the summer and continue to work with them to create a successful business!

From Fall 2011 to Spring 2012 I was able to take 3 quarters of classes at NSCC towards their jewelry design certificate program. Currently I've been taking courses at Danaca Design.

Stores where I have items on consignment:

Ventures: Gifts For Good in the "Down Under" part of the Pike Place Market and in their new Seatac location!

My items can also be found at The Gallery in the Lake Forest Park Third Place Books mall on the ground floor.

Some of my items can now be found at Fremont Jewelry Design in the center of the known Universe

Otherworlds - a nifty shop in Edmonds:

One of my beaded items is included in the Lark Publication 'Showcase 500 Beaded Jewelry' released in late July 2012!

Three of my beaded items are in the book '1000 Steampunk Creations' released in June 2011 by Quarry Books.

I love to do a variety of crafts and make my own jewelry and accessories. I have been crafting since I was a child and out of self defense as a large woman who likes to create costumes and doesn't fit standard sizes. I continue to take classes to learn new skills. I like to experiment & push myself and continue to work on improving my technique.

Please see my main web site at to find a complete list of upcoming shows.
