Get to Know

When I was 7 years old, my mom bought me a bicycle. But instead of riding it around the neighborhood, I turned it upside down and tried to make it into a spinning wheel. Naturally, we didn't have any wool, so I used cotton balls, and kept unwinding them onto the tire treads, trying to stretch them out into threads. It didn't exactly work out. However, this little anecdote is a classic example of my life-long attraction to arts and crafts. (I was just born this way!)

I decided to start selling my creations not because I thought I had a great business model in mind, but because I ran out of places to put the fruits of my obsessive labor! I truly hope my items will find good homes with people who enjoy them as much as I enjoy making them!

This is Driftwood, we met when he was a kitten, he followed my traveling companion back to our motel room near Aztec, New Mexico. He was very dirty and VERY hungry. He grew so quickly we thought he was a bobcat cub! He has been across the country and back several times, and has lived on the East coast, in the Midwest, and on the West coast, as well as the Southwest, the place of his birth. He is very floppy and huggable.
