My name is Jessica Cook. I live in Middle Tennessee with my indulgent husband and my three wonderful kids. My day job is freelance writing; I squeeze in fiber arts whenever I have an available minute. I handpaint all of my yarns and fibers using only professional acid dyes. This gives my customers ultimate colorfastness. I have a smoke-free home, and the only pet we own - a chinchilla - never gets near my fibers. Find me on as JessECreations. I have a group there, the Storied Yarns group, where I offer sale notices, coupon codes, Knit-Alongs and fun contests. Come on over and join us! If you'd like a custom colorway based on your favorite character or story, I'd be happy to help you out. Just send me a message!

This is my "Other Mother" colorway on combed top. I love the vibrance in this colorway. I hope you agree that what I dye is modern and fun!

This is my "Eric the Red" colorway. It's inspired by Eric Northman from TV's True Blood and Charlaine Harris's Southern Vampire Mystery novels. Mmm, Eric. Mmm, yarn. Yep, it's definitely lust!

I'm a geek in many ways. I love books, movies, and tv shows. That's evident if you've seen my shop. Fiber arts are something else I totally geek out for, and I love creating new materials for that art form!

This is my "Persephone" colorway. I love this colorway and how it reminds me of harvest fruits and fall leaves! I hope that every time I dye up a skein of yarn or a braid of fiber, it tells a story in art form. Then you get to continue that story when you take my characters home with you and use them in your own artistic pursuits.
