Quick Blurb

Since I was a small child I have been creating different kinds of art. I have spent nearly 44 years of my life learning...

Interests

crocheting, sewing, handmade jewelry, handcrafted seed bead jewelry, work hardening, cold work, solder less.

Skills and Techniques

Work hardening, an old technique using straight wire that becomes manipulated to formed into round links, figure eights, spirals, curves, making jump rings, eyelets, hammering and making s links, or other desired shapes. Gently hammered wire on a steel block to flatten, texture, and harden.\"cold worked\" which means it is solder less.

Get to Know

I am a jewelry designer whom loves all things Art Deco, Nouveau, Retro and Classic. I am a self taught artist with a great understanding of Native American jewelry design and classic to unique arrangements. I make all my jewelry by hand and I carefully select each piece. I tend to buy my pieces from small indie local shops in the city of Richmond and Williamsburg. I am opened minded, passionate and enthusiastic. All of my jewelry is handmade in Richmond, Virginia in a smoke-free and pet-free home studio. Fun loving and creative, I\'m a mom of two, entrepreneur, born & raised in the USA.

Since I was a small child I have been creating different kinds of art. I have spent nearly 44 years of my life learning different forms of art and crafts. Growing up I was encouraged to learn and appreciate all kinds of art. I started with music my first love. I was introduced to the world of wire work and clay in 2005.

I love making and selling handmade jewelry. The hobby began with making beaded native american jewelry, then for my family members. Soon after, friends inquired about having jewelry made for them and as gifts for loved ones. For me it not just about how advance the jewelry technique or piece is that I am working on. What is, more important to me is the love I put in it, the style - the arrangement and that the jewelry piece speaks. It is beauty I am creating... a piece of art that can be wore and admired. It\'s not perfect just like nature it has it\'s NATURAL imperfections or flaws, but still lovely and well made.
