Get to Know
I have been unraveling sweaters since before it was a thing. It started out as a way to feed my own need for mass quantities of the finer things, as yarns go - merinos, silks, cashmeres, angoras, alpacas, and even shiny rayons. Now I consider it an obsession all its own that I am happy to share.
With as few joins as possible (usually none), each skein starts out with a luxurious soak in a light, clarifying cleanser. Then I hang it to dry and naturally straighten before being twisted into skeins that are as nice to touch as they are to look at.
