Welcome to my policies page. This is our first go at online sales, so our policies may change as we get more experience shipping items and working with customers.
However, based on discussions with people who do sell online. We will be shipping 1st class through the USPS and I will purchase insurance, unless you want to take the risk and pay a little less.
Refunds and Exchanges
Your happiness and positive feedback are important to us. If there is something wrong with your item, we want to be aware of it so we can resolve the issue.
If you are for some reason unhappy with your purchase and it is not caused by some defect, than we will accept returns for up to 7 days from date received. However, we will not pay the shipping unless the product is defective. That being said, we are very keen on quality assurance and no product will be shipped without being tested and retested.
Since we are working with circuitry, in many cases, it is possible that something could go wrong at some point (not unlike any electronic item from the store). We do our best to work with quality components but there is nothing 100% about circuitry.
We may be willing to compensate a person up to 3 months from the date of purchase who has had an "unfair" problem. If this is you, please email us with your explanation of what happened and we will consider how to compensate or troubleshoot the problem on a case by case basis.

Do you do repairs?
Yes we will do repairs on certain if not all of our products. For instance; if you accidentally drop your "Amulit" in water and it stops working (first try drying it out). You can send it back to us and we will replace the lighting component with a new one. You will need to pay for shipping both ways and we will do our best to keep our repair costs reasonable.
Do you do custom orders?
Small requests, like the length of a necklace or size of a crystal will likely be accepted. We will consider any request, but it will just depend on available time and how difficult the request is to fulfill.
Can you use your knowledge of lighting to make a custom product for me?
In most cases the answer is no. Here is why. We have our hands full creating the products that we currently offer. Any change in design can take alot of research and development and testing etc. There is also the issue of intellectual property, which can get very convoluted.
We have many new products under development and testing. If you write us about an idea you want us to create, we may already have that idea or something similar on the drafting board. So it could create bad feelings if we deny your request and then you see it on our site. We want to be free to create what we want and we have plenty of ideas to work with.
This does not mean that we don't want your input, we just don't want any strings attached or hard feelings. So unless you are totally unattached to the idea, than please keep your lighting design ideas to yourself or be very mindful about how you present them to us.
