Handmade bracelet, artisan lampwork, malachite and gold filled, purple
Handmade bracelet, artisan lampwork, malachite and gold filled - purple, green, gold
Gorgeous multi-hued (with swirls of purple, green, bronze, beige, red and more) artisan lampwork beads combine beautifully with the rich green of malachite beads. This bracelet is just stunning! The lampwork beads were made by Robin Weber and the depth of color is just amazing. I named it Molten Purple in reference to the molten flow of the colors in the lampwork beads. In the beads Robin started with a purple base and layered green, gold, red and a touch of pink to create the incredible depth. I combined the gorgeous lampwork with malachite which has its own wonderful patterns and depth. Shiny gold filled round beads add even more richness! I finished it off with a gold filled toggle clasp. Be sure to look at all the pictures if you want to get a true appreciation of the beauty of these beads.
I made this bracelet using professional beading wire. All the metal is gold filled. The bracelet measures 7" (17.8 cm)on a bracelet sizer, so it should fit anyone with a 6.5" (16.5 cm) wrist. I will gladly resize it to fit the recipient perfectly. Be aware that the color may vary on different computer monitors, but I've tried to get an accurate representation of the color in the picture.

Shipping: Free shipping for all domestic purchases. Unfortunately recent USPS changes to rates means I have to charge a nominal amount for shipping of international orders. I'll issue a refund in paypal or can send you an updated invoice if your estimated shipping is way over actual costs.
International - I'll be using international first class mail for all orders in order to save costs. Third party insurance is used for items that cost $25 or more. No delivery confirmation is available unless you would like to upgrade your shipping to global priority (which costs quite a bit more). If you would like tracking for your package be sure to let me know and I will quote you a shipping price using global priority mail.
Domestic - I use USPS first class mail or priority mail with delivery confirmation. For items over $25 I always add insurance.
Express shipping: If you want it fast just let me know and I'll adjust the shipping charges before you purchase or will send you an adjusted invoice if you decide after you purchase. I charge USPS rates for items so if you need an express shipping quote let me know.
Refunds and Exchanges - If the item you receive is not what you expected please contact me about it. I want my customers to be happy with their purchases. If we mutually agree that the item should be returned then you'll need to return it in the original packaging and in the original condition when you received it. I insure items over $25 so if your item is broken in transit contact me immediately so I can arrange for the items return and for compensation from the shipping company.

More on Gold Filled versus Gold Plated:
I use gold filled beads/wire rather than gold plated because gold filled is created by a process of using heat and pressure to bond a layer of real gold over some base metal (usually copper). Gold plating is an electro-chemical process which places a thin molecule of gold (or something gold colored) over a base metal and then a second chemical is often used for finishing to add a brightness to the bead. I found early on that gold plating can wear off in weeks if it is really poorly done and heavily used. Since that initial disappointment I've used gold filled beads (when available) and have never seen a sign of wear on any of the pieces I've worn over the years. I even polished some gold-filled beads in some jewelry my Aunt made me 20 years ago and they are now just as gold and shiny as when she first bought them.
Thank you so much. I love the earrings you created with the frit beads.-deronda
