Very good at emailing back to answer my questions within a day, fast shipping, the knifes were oiled and ready to go. I will buy again for sure.
Bought two feet of Damascus from this seller to make my wedding bands out of. Material showed up and was just like I expected. Quality material with an amazing 'twist' pattern. Shipped very quickly, a very good seller! Five stars!! Thank you!!!
I have been purchasing from this seller for a few years now. I am incredibly happy with the quality and look of everything he makes. He is a true artist. My son has been using a set of kitchens made from this seller for 2 years now without an issue. His knives are high quality Damascus which means high quality carbon steel. As long as the blades are cared for and oiled from time to time, they will last forever. My newest knife is as beautiful and rugged as I expected, he never lets me down.
I also want to repost an old review because it has slipped to the second page but I feel it is just as true and important now --- I am writing my review from the point of view of a blacksmith. I am a hobby blacksmith and I don’t have the talent that the seller of these knives has. He is a true craftsman. I can make a tough knife but it lacks the beauty that is inherent in these works of art. These knives are amazing. The quality of the Damascus steel is amazing. This is true Damascus made from folding two different types of metal repeatedly. Some people make something that looks similar but it doesn’t have the structured layers that are present in these blades. You can look at the back of the blade and see the folded layers in true Damascus folded metal. I can’t complement them enough. I purchased a few knives as gifts and kept one for myself. The people that received the gifts have thanked me many times. My brother said he will pass his knife down to his son one day. We are country people and we use knives on a daily basis in hunting, fishing and basic chores. These have been stress tested and they have survived. I used my kukri to chop firewood and it worked perfectly. My brother uses his knife in fishing and said he will never need to buy another fishing knife.
I see that a few other reviews have complained about how long it took to get their order. I contacted the seller and he explained that he had a few family issues. I don’t understand why people are so upset about delayed orders under those circumstances. He is a person, not a huge corporation. He doesn’t have warehouses filled with employees. He personally makes and inspects each knife. Each knife is unique because of the swirls of the Damascus and because they are handcrafted. If a family emergency happens, then of course it will slow down orders, but he still fulfilled those orders. I respect him for taking care of his family and still working to keep his customers happy. I will purchase more from him because the art of handcrafting Damascus blades is rare and he is a master - but just as important, I respect his dedication to his family while still running his business
