We "caught" Santa just as he was hanging up the stockings on the fireplace.
Personalized handknit Christmas stocking with full Santa design with wrap around fireplace mantle and stockings hung with care on front and back of 25" stocking. Knit by me from a vintage pattern, from the 1950s. I'd love to knit you one and start a family tradition, or add to those you already have.

Just the thing for the new baby's first Christmas!

This special stocking will be used and treasured for years and years. Start a new tradition in your family. Everyone in our family has one and we'd love to have you enjoy the same tradition. Stocking may be personalized at no extra cost. Name will be hand-stitched in top green panel, with white yarn. (Longer names will wrap around the stocking.) Jingle bell is attached to end of Santa's hat.

PLEASE ALLOW TWO WEEKS FOR ME TO KNIT YOUR STOCKING.

Front and back of stocking are shown.

Stocking measures approx. 25" tall and is about 6 1/2" wide, with a loop for hanging. It will stretch, so you can stuff it to your heart's content. Knit of 100% acrylic, to make it washable. Santa's beard is knit with and angora and wool blend yarn. I recommend hand washing, due to attached bell and beard yarn.

Snowman design also available.

I also custom knit Christmas Stockings upon request, in other patterns. Many have asked me to duplicate the stocking their Grandmother or Great Aunt made so they have one for a new child or grandchild.

Inspiration/Story Behind This Product

The tradition of knitting this pattern has been in my family for over 60 years. My mother taught me to knit and when she could no longer make these stockings, I continue her tradition of lovingly creating family heirlooms. I'd love to knit you one to start or continue your own family tradition.
